High Pressure and Boiler Feed Pumps

Horizontal and Vertical Industrial Pumps – High Pressure & Boiler Feed Pumps

High pressure centrifugal pumps are a critical piece of equipment in many industrial and commercial applications. They are capable of handling high pressures and moving large volumes of fluid.

There are several different types of high-pressure centrifugal pumps, including the radial flow pump, the mixed flow pump, and the axial flow pump. Each type has its own unique benefits and drawbacks.

The radial flow pump is a simple design that is popular for use in low pressure applications. It has a single impeller that is in the center of the pump housing. The mixed flow pump is a more complex design that is better suited for high pressure applications. It has two impellers, one located in the center of the pump, and one located near the edge. This pump can move more fluid than the radial flow pump.

The axial flow pump is the most complex design of the three. It has multiple impellers that are located around the edge of the pump housing. This pump can move the most fluid of any of the high-pressure centrifugal pumps. However, it is also the most expensive and difficult to maintain.

Kirkwood Pumps and Process is proud to partner with OSNA and Gusher to provide a selection of high pressure pumps.
